After spending the last 20 years near Washington, DC, I have return home to Indiana in the historical town of New Harmony. This beautiful area of the county is presenting many new subjects for painting. Creating art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Through the years I have been privileged to take classes from some very talented teachers across the country as well as individual study.
For a long time my interest was mainly in watercolor but recently branched out into colored pencil after studying with Marilyn Henry. This media takes longer than the way I painted in watercolor but am enjoying the results especially in the portrait area.
In Maryland I was represented through the North End Gallery in Leonardtown, MD and exhibited in many juried shows. Since locating in Indiana I have been accepted in exhibits with the Hoosier Salon, Southwest Indiana Arts Council and Riverwind Galleries as well as solo shows.
